Product molecule numbers and reaction rate fluctuations in elementary reactions

چکیده
In many chemical reactions, reaction rate fluctuations are inevitable. Whenever reactions occur, rates vary due to their dependence on the number of events or products. Accordingly, understanding impact product counting statistics is utmost importance when developing a quantitative explanation reactions. this work, we examine relationship between and fluctuations. Product uncover stochastic properties number; latter directly manipulates rate. Specifically, find that displays super-Poisson characteristics as increases with number. On other hand, shows sub-Poisson behavior, decrease in follows. Furthermore, our analysis, dealing fluctuations, allows for quantifying deviations an elementary process from renewal process.

Multi-product exporters, variable markups and exchange rate fluctuations
In this paper we investigate how firms adjust markups across products in response to fluctuations in the real exchange rate. In a theoretical framework, we show that firms increase their markups and producer prices following a real depreciation and that this increase is greater for products with higher productivity, a consequence of local distribution costs. We estimate markups at the market-pr...

متن کاملApparent rate constant for diffusion-controlled three-molecule reactions.
We present simple explicit estimates for the apparent reaction rate constant for threemolecular reactions. For small concentrations and d > 1, it depends only on the diffusion coefficients and sizes of the particles. For small concentrations and d ≤ 1, it is also time – dependent. For large concentrations, it gains the dependence on concentrations. Typeset using REVTEX 1
متن کاملMetal-molecule interface fluctuations.
We have created self-assembled circular chains of C60 laterally bound to a layer of Ag atoms as a model system for characterizing fluctuations at a metal-molecule interface. STM measurements show that the Ag and C60 sides of the interface fluctuate independently, with frequency-dependent amplitudes of magnitude 0.1 nm at approximately 1 Hz for the Ag edge and approximately 0.01 Hz for the C60 r...
